Imaging provides many new applications for the management of anorectal disease. With the help of the Flex focus B&K ultrasound and corresponding 3D linear and transverse probes, a 3 dimensional picture of the anal canal can be obtained.

Chronic anal tears (Fissure) can be treated without surgery with ultrasound guided Botox sphincter injections.

The ultrasound can also be used to diagnose anal sphincter obstetric birth trauma and aid in the repair process.
